Street Food Festivals To Visit: Summer 2015

Summer is all about having adventures and exploring. But aside from physical exploring it’s also an opportunity to explore the different flavours within food. The best way to do that is by getting yourself to a Street Food Festival, and if you’ve never been to one,  then summer 2015 could be the time to make a change!

While I was researching it became apparent that many street food festivals seem to pop up around April time. Don’t worry though,  there’s still lots of upcoming ones and these are the best  that I’ve come across!

If one of them catches your interest, I’ve handily linked everything up so just click on the name and it’ll take you to the site so you can find out more information!

This exciting street food festival is open throughout July and is bursting with lots of different food flavours.

It consists of street food trucks, craft ales & beers, cocktail bars, and BBQs all found in a big top tent – it’ll definitely be a different dining experience.

Opening Times:  Friday & Saturday 5pm-11pm, Sunday 2pm-10pm

This is a pretty big one as it does a tour round the UK. There are plenty upcoming shows, but I thought I’d pick the ones that aren’t so close to London (Edinburgh and Bristol). As with all food festivals, there’ll be an abundance of food, and you’ll also find a few pop up restaurants too.

In case you were wondering, this festival will also be  at Ally Pally too J

  • Edinburgh 7th-9th August
  • Bristol 26th – 28th August

Note: I’m not entirely sure what the opening times are, however I’m going with the assumption that they’ll be clarified when you purchased your tickets.

This is another big food festival that tours around the UK! Although some of the main shows pop up towards the end of the year, there are the few coming up in the summer that you can head to! Here you’ll be able to sample local and more exotic produce, which sounds fantastic!

  • Wimbledon Park Food Festival 29th – 31st August
  • Leeds Castle Food Festival 11th – 13th September
  • Morden Hall Park Food Festival 30th – 31st October

Last but not least we’ve got the Love Food Festival in Gloucestershire! Once again, you’ll be able to find lots of tasty goodies just on your doorstep or maybe not quite but close enough. Also it’s apparently all based in a wonderful location so you’ll get to appreciate fantastic food accompanied by a fantastic view.

Opening Times – TBC
