8 Deliciously Easy Fruit Salads To Try This Summer

While it is good for you to eat fruit all year round, there is not a more exciting time of the year for it than in summer! With the sun in full shine, a big bowl of colourful seasonal fruit will taste the best, along with it being highly nutritious.

It’s also our favourite season because all the exotic fruits are around too – which will make your standard fruit salad much more exciting. We have put together a list of fresh, colourful, delicious and moreish easy fruit salads that you can create yourself!

Have a look and tell us which one you like the most?

1. Mojito Fruit Salad (Non-Alcoholic)

This easy fruit salad features Watermelon, Blueberries, Strawberries and Raspberries. Well, why is this a mojito fruit salad? I hear you ask. Well it’s all mixed in with a lime and mint syrup. Taaaasty.

2. Grilled Fruit Salad

Not all fruit salads have to be cold… take this grilled fruit salad, it contains Peaches, Plums, Pears, Figs and Grapefruit. All mixed in with the complimentary herbs of mint and basil. With the fruit being grilled beforehand, it’ll release those extra fruity flavours.

3. Honey, Lime & Poppy Seed Salad

This fruity little number mixes some British summer fruits, with some tropical favourites. Strawberries, Blackberries, Kiwis and Mango accompanied by a sprinkling of poppy seeds, drizzling of lime juice and a spoonful of honey. Well that just sounds like summer in a bowl doesn’t it?

4. Quinoa, Spinach, Strawberry and Blueberry Salad

Nope they’re not just funny looking grapes; this fruit salad features purely melons – Watermelon, Honey Dew Melon and Cantaloupe. All tossed with some mint and honey. If you were wondering, the secret to the presentation of our picture is to buy a mellow baller, so you can serve bite-size beauties rather than slices.

6. Vanilla Fruit Salad

Strawberries accompanied by Grapes, Blueberries and Pineapple – to this delicious selection you then add some vanilla pudding and there you have it. A quick delicious desert to enjoy in the warm weather.
