Soup and sandwich combinations are always great, because theyre filling enough to keep you going until dinner, but light enough so you dont feel like you need a nap straight after! Id happily go for a tomato soup with some warm bread and butter right now, but there are many more soup and sandwich pairings out there that people should start enjoying! Heres my top 6:
Tomato Soup and Grilled Cheese Sandwich
Here we have a Tomato soup with a grilled cheese combo totally safe on the flavour combo front and really filling too.
Vegetable Soup and Turkey Sandwich
Another safety soup and sandwich combo with this fibre packed Vegetable soup with a Turkey sandwich. I imagine it to be like a Christmas dinner that you can have all year round and everyone likes Christmas.
Black Bean Soup with Pulled Chicken Slaw Sliders
The official definition of a sandwich according to Google is: an item of food consisting of two pieces of bread with a filling between them, eaten as a light meal. So the sliders totally count as a sandwich right? Right.
Of course they do, which is why the combo of Pulled Chicken Slaw Sliders and Black Bean soup has made it into my list.
French Onion Soup and Walnut Chicken Salad Sandwich
Thought Id throw another classic soup in here for all those onion lovers, as well as one of my personal favourite sandwiches I dont usually add walnuts to my chicken salad sandwich, but thats definitely one for the to try list. Here we have French onion soup with a Walnut Chicken Salad sandwich.
Cantonese Spiced Pork Meatball Soup with Chinese Roast Chicken Buns
Well here’s a curveball, well maybe its expected considering Im Chinese but this is different from your usual supermarket soups I bring you Cantonese Spiced Meatballs with Chinese Roast Chicken Buns.
