Have you ever felt the feeling of joy when a co-worker has brought in a tasty treat for you all the share in the office? We love it when this happens in the office here at URBAN eat and found this the perfect excuse for a Blog on how you can create smiles all round by gifting food. Besides, isn’t food the way to the heart?
Our first example is one that could really make a family’s day this Christmas. Many families in the U.K. don’t have enough money at the moment to be able to afford food or yet alone presents for their love ones this Christmas. By putting together a little hamper to give to your local Food Bank, you could really make a difference to a family this Christmas. Food ideas to include are things like tins of soup, dried stuffing, chocolate Santa’s & coins, mince pies, Christmas puddings, biscuits plus all your essential dried foods that have a decent shelf life on them. You can also see where your local foodbank is.

Our second idea to help spread the love is as simple as making a family member breakfast in bed one morning. The best morning to choose would include a dismal looking forecast in the weather, and a Monday too – it would start the week off in an amazing way. Things to include in your breakfast treat include:
- Homemade pancakes
- Glass of Fresh Orange juice

Our third idea is to give your local homeless people a lovely warm meal. It’s getting wet and cold again and getting a warm tasty meal is a rather hard thing if you don’t have much money to buy these regularly. What you would like to purchase them is up to you, but some ideas include things like Fish and Chips or maybe a pizza or something along those lines. It doesn’t have to cost you the world and you could make someone so happy and grateful. Even a cup of coffee or a tasty URBAN eat sandwich could be a treat to those who can’t afford it.
